SLEGO University
Terms of Service
TERMS OF SERVICE | Operated by SLEGO Industries LLC. Effective date: October 20, 2026.
This document is published in English, and the English version applies.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to SLEGO University, the online education and resource platform operated by SLEGO Industries LLC ("SLEGO," "we," "us" or "our"). They cover the website, educational videos, courses, knowledge checks, certificates, resource center, paid memberships and the SLEGO Forum, our Discourse-powered member community (collectively, the "Platform"). The SLEGO Forum will open according to its announced rollout schedule.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, subscribing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. Please review our Privacy Notice for information about how personal information is processed. If you access the Platform on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to act for that company where you make purchases or accept organizational terms.
1. Purpose and educational nature
SLEGO University provides structured business education, transformation methods, examples, tools and resources. The materials are intended to support learning and organizational improvement; they are not a guarantee of specific operational, financial, safety, legal or other outcomes. You remain responsible for evaluating whether and how to apply the concepts in your workplace and complying with applicable laws and workplace requirements.
2. Accounts, eligibility and access
Members must supply accurate account information, keep contact details current, and use only accounts and seats they are authorized to access. Authentication may use member password sign-in, email verification codes or other methods we introduce. Do not share login codes, credentials, or membership access with others. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Access is determined by the membership or organization agreement in effect. We may limit or suspend access when needed to protect the Platform, respond to misuse, satisfy legal requirements, or address nonpayment, with notice when reasonable. The Platform is designed for adult professional users; minors may not create accounts without our express written authorization and applicable consent.
International availability. SLEGO University is a globally accessible online learning and resource platform operated by SLEGO Industries LLC in the United States. Materials are offered in seven primary languages. Eligible members may access the Platform internationally where such access and services are lawful and available. Availability in a country does not mean SLEGO Industries LLC has a business establishment there, and certain features or transactions may be limited to comply with applicable laws.
3. Free trial and preview access
SLEGO University offers a 14-day free trial without requiring a payment card. Beginning with the October 20, 2026 launch, the trial includes access to the first five SLEGO Foundations videos. Additional trial features, if any, will be identified on the registration page. Membership or trial access to other resources is governed by the plan terms shown at signup.
The trial does not automatically become a paid membership and no subscription charge is initiated unless you separately select and authorize a paid plan. At the end of the trial, trial-only access may expire unless you subscribe or are granted another eligible form of access. We may revise or discontinue future trial offers, but changes will not retroactively impose a charge on an existing trial without authorization.
4. Memberships, organization seats and plan changes
Paid memberships may be offered for individual leaders, teams, sites and enterprises. The applicable access rights, number and types of seats, fees, billing intervals and included features are those presented at checkout or specified in a signed organizational agreement. Descriptions of future or "coming soon" content are development plans, not promises of immediate availability or fixed release dates unless expressly agreed in writing.
Company administrators may invite members, allocate eligible Executive or Leader seats, and manage seats within purchased limits. Seats are assigned to named authorized users and may not be pooled across simultaneous users. Organization administrators may receive certain membership, access and learning-progress information about their assigned users as explained in the Privacy Notice and applicable organizational arrangements.
Changes between eligible plans may result in prorated charges or credits, with timing and calculation disclosed in the billing portal or checkout.
Enterprise agreements. Where SLEGO Industries LLC and a customer execute a separate written Enterprise Agreement, order form, or data-processing agreement, its specific contractual provisions govern over conflicting provisions of these Terms for the Enterprise services and members covered by that agreement, to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms continue to apply to matters not addressed by the separate agreement unless that agreement expressly provides otherwise. No agreement may waive privacy rights or other protections that cannot legally be limited, and our Privacy Notice continues to describe personal-information practices and rights.
5. Payments, renewals, cancellation and refunds
When you authorize a paid subscription, you agree to the price, billing interval, taxes and recurring charges disclosed at checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe or another disclosed payment provider; we do not require you to provide full payment-card information directly to SLEGO outside the payment provider's secure flow.
Paid subscriptions renew at the billing interval disclosed at checkout until canceled or otherwise ended under an applicable written agreement. You may cancel through the provided membership or billing controls or by contacting us. A canceled membership remains active through the end of its current paid billing period (the next scheduled billing date), after which access to paid features ends unless another eligible membership is in place. Monthly membership refund requests must be submitted to payments@slegoindustries.com and will be reviewed in accordance with applicable law and any controlling agreement; submitting a request does not itself guarantee a refund. When an annual membership payment is refunded, the amount will be prorated for the unused portion of the prepaid annual term, subject to applicable law and any controlling written agreement.
If payment fails, we may retry processing, request updated payment information, or suspend paid access after reasonable notice. Applicable taxes, currency and any additional charges must be presented before purchase.
6. Intellectual property and permitted use
The Platform and its original videos, course materials, illustrations, assessment questions, documents, frameworks, trademarks, software and other content are owned by SLEGO Industries LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable US and international intellectual-property laws.
While your membership is active, SLEGO grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to view and use authorized materials for your own learning and legitimate internal business-improvement activities. You may implement general ideas and methods in your organization and use downloadable worksheets internally as their accompanying instructions permit. You may not republish, sell, sublicense, scrape, upload to public repositories, redistribute to unlicensed users, or use Platform content to create a competing content library without written permission.
No license transfers ownership of the underlying SLEGO content or branding. Contact us if your organization needs permission for wider use.
7. Knowledge checks, certificates and progress records
Assessments, completion indicators and certificates document participation or completion under the Platform rules in effect at that time; they are not professional licenses, independent accreditation, or proof of a guaranteed level of workplace proficiency unless specifically stated. We may correct technical or administrative errors in completion records. Certificates may include your name, course title, completion date and authorized SLEGO signature.
8. Community participation and confidentiality
The SLEGO Forum is the Platform's Discourse-powered discussion community, with availability governed by its announced rollout schedule. Members may participate in discussions and channels their accounts are permitted to access. Participants must be professional and respectful. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, publish unlawful content, seek unauthorized access, or disclose personal information, confidential business data, trade secrets, customer information or proprietary supplier information without authorization.
Some discussions may be visible to other members or designated company administrators. A restricted channel is not a substitute for a confidentiality agreement or secure repository for sensitive company information. You are responsible for what you post and for ensuring you have the right to share it. SLEGO may moderate, restrict, remove or preserve content as reasonably necessary for safety, policy enforcement, legal compliance and Platform operation.
You retain ownership of original material you submit. By submitting it, you give SLEGO a nonexclusive license to store, display, reproduce and distribute that material within the Platform as necessary to operate, moderate and provide the community, subject to our Privacy Notice and any separate written arrangements. This does not grant SLEGO ownership of your company's confidential materials.
9. Third-party services and integrations
The Platform uses third-party infrastructure and services, including Supabase for account infrastructure, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Vimeo for videos, Vercel for hosting and Discourse for the SLEGO Forum. These services support SLEGO University but do not replace these Terms or our Privacy Notice. Some embedded or linked services have additional terms that apply to direct use of their services.
SLEGO Forum uses DiscourseConnect single sign-on (SSO) to connect eligible SLEGO University members to the community through their existing account. This arrangement does not require SLEGO to share member passwords with Discourse. The categories of account information used by the connection are described in our Privacy Notice and will be verified against the implementation before the Forum opens.
10. Availability, updates and changes
We aim to provide reliable access but cannot promise uninterrupted service or error-free content. We may fix defects, adjust features, update educational materials, and schedule maintenance. Material changes that significantly reduce a paid membership's current core benefits will be communicated as required by law and applicable customer agreements. We may revise these Terms and will post the updated version and effective date. If law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SLEGO provides the Platform and educational materials on an "as available" basis and disclaims warranties not expressly provided in a signed written agreement. SLEGO is not responsible for business decisions made solely in reliance on general educational materials.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. The maximum limits of liability shall not exceed the individual member payments from the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
12. Termination and effect of ending access
You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account closure, subject to unresolved subscriptions, legal record-retention duties and other applicable obligations. We may terminate or suspend accounts for substantial violations of these Terms, security risks or unlawful conduct. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, permitted uses of previously received materials, confidentiality obligations, and dispute-related provisions - will continue to apply as legally appropriate.
13. Privacy, notices and contact
Our Privacy Notice explains personal-information collection, uses, service providers, sharing, retention and member rights, including the SLEGO Forum. The Privacy Notice is available at https://slegouniversity.com/privacy. Billing and refund questions may be sent to payments@slegoindustries.com; privacy requests may be sent to membership@slegoindustries.com. Formal notices to SLEGO Industries LLC may be mailed to 1706 Murray Drive, Knoxville, TN 37912.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. Any mandatory consumer protections and applicable law continue to apply.
